This will be a unique outback event, with entertainment available each night.

  • Sunday 7th July - there will be a pre-race carbo load dinner on the Sunday evening before the Big Red Dash and the Big Red Run adventure begins.

  • Monday 8th July - Night 1 will incorporate the Big Red Run Dash awards ceremony before showcasing an open air concert with the legendary 'true blue' John Williamson performing from 5.30pm atop Big Red. The performance will capture the sunset over the Simpson desert and conclude around 8.30pm.

  • Tuesday 9th July - Night 2 will feature a motivational talk by event Ambassador Pat Farmer, on his record breaking Simpson desert run and recent pole to pole run.

  • Wednesday 10th July - Night 3 will allow you be to enjoy an outdoor cinema screening underneath the unspoilt starlit canopy of the Simpson desert.

  • Thursday 11th - Night 4 will be a SURPRISE!

  • Friday 12th July - Soaking up the atmosphere and cheering runners over the line at the end of a long day!

  • Saturday 13th July - Night 6 YOU'VE DONE IT!! Now let's celebrate with a good old Aussie BBQ and awards ceremony for the Born to Run 100km and Big Red Run stage race. Good on ya'!
